Warehouse Analyst

Description:

Responsible for generating, updating and tracking purchase orders for storehouse stock as well as all storehouse stock repair orders. Interfaces with suppliers to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of pricing and lead times. Interfaces with all Refinery departments to process, maintain and track WSAR progress (Warehouse Stock Adjustment Request) and provide training as needed. Resolves inventory invoices and receiving discrepancies to assure proper workflow between warehouse, purchasing and accounts payable.

Recognizes when computer feedback does not satisfy warehouse system requirements and takes action accordingly.

Sets up and maintains material masters, interfacing with corporate to ensure application consistency.

Compiles yearly stock lists to secure pricing with regular vendors and maintaining costs in SAP Info Records.

Responsible for data input/analytical duties associated with cycle/physical counts to maintain inventory accuracy.

Develops/Implements action plans to revise inventory product according to usage and needed application for which it is used.

Generates annual slow moving/dead stock inventory items reports for reducing unnecessary stock.

This position is salary nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.

The salary range for this position is $52,000 to $71,400 and represents Valero's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of expected compensation at the time of this posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications and experience.

Qualifications:

Able and willing to work on-site, in-person at the Valero Wilmington Refinery, required.

High school diploma or GED required.

Five years of experience with warehouse, material handling, and inventory control required.

Experience in refinery environment preferred.

Experience working with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook required.

SAP experience is preferred.

Some accounting experience is preferred.
