One Family.Purpose StatementThe Sales Coordinator is a seasoned Sales Representative with cake decorating experience who conducts sales out in the field via face-to-face interactions with both potential and existing customers. They are responsible for offering the best possible customer experience as well as providing hands-on explanations of any new or updated products when necessary. Their excellent social skills allow them to foster strong relationships in the field or via telephone.The Sales Coordinator is responsible for leveraging sales experience by strengthening customer relations and growing profitable sales along with developing new business.Key Accountabilities and OutcomesEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales serviceServices existing accounts, obtains sales ordersEstablishes new accounts by planning and organizing work schedule to call on existing or potential new sales accounts and other trade factorsKeeps management informed by submitting Sales Force Log activities and reporting results such as call reports and work plansUses baked products and food decorating skills to create finished cakes and other bakery-@type productsApplies decorating techniques using Hanan Products Icings and Fillings and other materialsCreates and revises cake designs based on recommendations from HP ManagementRecommends and suggests new ideas for flavors, products, etc. and changes in products, services and policy by evaluating results and competitive developmentsGood organizational and communication skillsSupports compliance activities including GMPs and proceduresCommunicates with co-workers, supervisors and customers in a professional and courteous mannerOther duties as assigned as necessaryTravel as neededKnowledge, Skills, and ExperienceMust have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)2+ years' experience in grocery, retail, food service or related industries in a direct sales, customer service, delivery, or other related positionSelf-motivated, able to take initiative in decision making.Punctual and reliable in their work attendance.Possess solid math, and analysis skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills (interpersonal skills)Demonstrated problem-solving skills and trouble-shooting skillsDemonstrated ability to multitask and work under pressureStrong decision-making skillsDemonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphereStrong PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Access preferred)Must have the ability to read and interpret documents written in English.Must have the ability to write simple correspondence and effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, other employees in the organization and vendors.Previous cake decorating experience required.Physical Requirements:Moderate degree of physical activity and coordination required.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.Extended standing and moderate walking.Continuous pushing/pulling/lifting/reaching/grasping/squeezing.Vision requirements: Requires distance vision, color visions, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus.COMPENSATIONIn accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products C
