Electrical and Controls Technician

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Electrical and Controls Technician to join their team. As an Electrical and Controls Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance department supporting the operational excellence of the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electrical and Controls Technician

Location: Anderson, IN

Pay Range: $28.82 per hour

What's the Job?

Maintain and troubleshoot all Production PLCs, database systems, control networks, instrumentation, and electrical systems (480V and below).

Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled and support system improvements.

Analyze line performance data and provide improvement support based on findings.

Document all automation program and system/device/instrument configuration changes.

Participate in NCE and Improvement teams to enhance operational efficiency.

What's Needed?

Strong mechanical and electrical skills, especially with electrical systems up to 480V.

Proficiency in PLC maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting; Allen Bradley preferred.

Ability to understand and troubleshoot HMI systems, preferably Wonderwares InTouch.

Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
