In this role, you have the opportunity to: Become a trusted digital marketing partner, delivering relevant opportunities for revenue generation through targeted campaigns, enhancing brand awareness through integrated marketing and communications initiatives, while promoting Mercury's unique and innovative culture, as well as supporting employee engagement efforts. You will also be a partner in supporting other team members within the marketing and communications function of the business. This role requires someone who is organized, creative, and adaptable to the ever-changing digital landscape. Digital marketing communication coordinators play an integral role in building a brand's online presence and driving audience engagement. You are responsible for: Digital Content Creation & Management Develop engaging content for digital channels, including supporting social media strategy, website development, and blogs. Assist in the creation of marketing materials such as graphics, videos, and promotional content for online campaigns. Coordinate the distribution of content via a robust content calendar across various digital platforms to ensure consistent messaging in support of the company's products, business units, and employees. Social Media Management Coordinate and oversee social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) and maintain a consistent voice for the brand. Plan, schedule, and monitor posts across all channels to engage the audience and increase brand visibility. Analyze social media metrics to gauge effectiveness and adjust strategies as necessary, and report recommended modifications to strategy to ensure increased engagement. Email Marketing Design and coordinate email campaigns, working alongside internal and external communications team, inclusive of event invitations and webpage development. Segment email lists to target different customer personas and improve open and click-through rates. Track performance of email campaigns, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversions. Campaign Coordination Assist in the execution of digital marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in messaging. Monitor and report on the performance of campaigns using appropriate measuring tools. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Search Engine Marketing (SEM/PPC) Assist in optimizing website content to improve search engine rankings (SEO). Work closely with product marketing managers to oversee paid search advertising campaigns (PPC). Brand Strategy & Communication Ensure that digital marketing strategies align with the company's brand guidelines and goals. Act as a liaison between product marketing and other departments to ensure seamless communication and execution of online projects. Analytics & Reporting Collect and analyze data from various digital platforms to evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns; modifying as needed to ensure optimal performance. Generate regular reports to inform decision-making and optimize future campaigns. Market Research Monitor digital marketing trends, best practices, and competitor activities. Provide insights and recommendations based on research to improve digital marketing efforts. Required Qualifications: Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of related experience. Experience implementing a social media strategy, and for developing, implementing, measuring and reporting on paid and organic, multi-channel campaigns. Experience managing social media channels in an aggregator/platforms and within the channel itself (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and online marketing best practices. Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and reporting tools. Creative skills for content creation (writing, design, and video editing are a plus). Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) (e.g., Concrete5). Experience with paid advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.). Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or Canva).
