Numbers tell a story, and at Woodard, we are looking for an Accounting Specialist to make sure it is the right one. If you like keeping things organized, double-checking details, and seeing the impact of your work every day, this is the role for you.

In this role, you will handle the behind-the-scenes pieces that keep our business moving. You will process invoices, reconcile accounts, keep vendors and customers on track, and jump in wherever the team needs support. It is a mix of routine and problem-solving that will keep you sharp.

How You'll Make an Impact

Process invoices, expense reports, and weekly disbursements

Reconcile vendor statements and credit cards

Prepare and send customer invoices, apply payments, and support collections

Assist with month-end close to keep financials accurate

Track temporary labor expenses and support ERP improvements

What It Takes to Succeed

3 to 5 years of accounting experience with both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

Strong attention to detail and organization

Job costing experience in construction is a plus

Comfort with Excel and accounting systems (SAP or similar preferred)

A proactive, team-first mindset with the confidence to take ownership of your work

Flexibility to adapt and stay focused when priorities shift
