Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Microservices MySQL PL/SQL Spring Boot and Java as well as domain expertise in Governance Risk & Compliance and Finance & Accounting. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable and robust microservices architectures.

Implement and maintain MySQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance.

Utilize PL/SQL for database programming and optimization.

Develop and deploy applications using Spring Boot framework.

Write clean efficient and maintainable Java code.

Ensure compliance with governance risk and compliance standards in all projects.

Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to integrate technical solutions.

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Participate in project planning and estimation activities.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.

Qualifications:

Possess a strong understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.

Have extensive experience with MySQL database management and optimization.

Demonstrate proficiency in PL/SQL programming.

Show expertise in Spring Boot framework for application development.

Exhibit strong Java programming skills.

Understand governance risk and compliance requirements in technical projects.

Have experience working with finance and accounting systems.

Display excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Possess strong communication and collaboration skills.

Show ability to mentor and guide junior team members.

Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Demonstrate ability to work in a hybrid work model.

Have a proactive and results-oriented mindset.

Certifications Required:

Certified Microservices Architect Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate Spring Professional Certification Oracle Certified Professional Java SE

Salary:

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
