JOB REQUIREMENTS: SKILLED CONSTRUCTION LABORER / CARPENTER Krzewina
Custom Homes is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals with a
minimum of one year of hands-on construction experience to join our
growing team. We are a family-owned general contracting company
specializing in custom homes, apartment buildings, subdivision homes,
additions, remodeling, and other residential construction projects. JOB
RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Follow established safety rules and regulations while maintaining a
clean and safe work environment. Measure, mark, cut, assemble, and
fasten construction materials using appropriate hand and power tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine
layouts, dimensions, and materials. Verify that structures are level,
plumb, properly aligned, and built to specifications. Inspect, repair,
and replace damaged structural components, siding, flooring, and other
building materials. Safely erect and use ladders and scaffolding.
Install windows, doors, frames, subflooring, flooring, trim, hardware,
and other building fixtures. Perform framing, siding, roofing,
remodeling, and general carpentry work. Anchor and brace structural
components using appropriate fasteners and materials. Drill into wood,
masonry, and concrete using appropriate power tools. Assist with setting
posts and constructing structural supports. Install flooring materials
and moisture barriers. Build, install, or repair cabinets, doors,
frameworks, floors, and other wooden fixtures. Assist with selecting,
organizing, and ordering construction materials as needed. Perform
drywall repairs, patching, sanding, painting, and other finishing work.
Install soundproofing, insulation-related materials, and decorative wall
or ceiling paneling. Inspect structural timbers for deterioration and
assist with necessary repairs or replacements. Handle potentially
hazardous materials only when properly trained and equipped, following
applicable safety requirements. Maintain an organized job site and work
efficiently with other crew members. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS
Minimum one year of hands-on construction experience required. Basic
understanding of construction methods, materials, and job-site safety.
Experience operating common hand and power tools. Ability to perform
physically demanding construction work. Dependable, punctual, and able
to work well with others. Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn new skills and take direction. Experienced
carpenters should be capable of working independently when needed. WHAT

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of one year of hands-on construction experience
required. Experience in residential construction, remodeling, framing,
siding, roofing, or general carpentry. Basic knowledge of construction
methods, materials, and job-site safety. Ability to safely and properly
operate common hand and power tools. Ability to read a tape measure
accurately and perform basic construction measurements. Ability to
follow instructions, work independently when appropriate, and
collaborate with a team. Must be dependable, punctual, motivated, and
willing to learn. Ability to perform physically demanding work,
including lifting and carrying materials, bending, kneeling, climbing
ladders, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong
attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Must have
reliable transportation to assigned job sites or designated meeting
locations. Additional experience in multiple areas of construction is a
plus. Compensation will be based on experience, skills, and demonstrated
