Property Room Tech/Investigative Analyst

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Maintain records of evidence and write and review reports. Package, store and retrieve evidence. Submit evidence to supervisors, crime labs, or court officials for legal proceedings. Analyze and process evidence at crime scenes, during autopsies, or in the laboratory, wearing protective equipment and using powders and chemicals. Serve as technical advisor and coordinate with other law enforcement workers or legal personnel to exchange information on crime scene collection activities. ** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and two years work experience in an office as a typist, secretary, or related area OR have two years experience in a law enforcement agency as a corrections officer, dispatcher, law enforcement officer or related area OR possess an Associate\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Programming, or related field or Criminal Justice. Must have ability to use computer and computer aided technology, prepare accurate and complete reports, and maintain confidentiality of investigations and evidence. Ideal candidate will display initiative and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team and will possess excellent organizational, time management, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
