As a Security Officer Customer Service in Provo, UT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and tenants. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a welcoming environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Tue04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Wed04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Thur04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Fri04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Sat12:00 PM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, exterior perimeters, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors, property management, and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
