Overview

What we're looking for: An Assistant Account Executive for MSL's Consumer practice.

What you bring to the table: The successful candidate will have 0-1 years of proven success in healthcare communications, demonstrated ability to manage projects and collaborate in a fast-paced environment and posess a true passion for the healthcare space.

What you'll do: Anchored on one of the agency's largest CPG accounts, you should have a passion for consumer Brand PR and be able to work in an integrated model with our agency partners. Our AAE will also be responsible for supporting the development and execution of PR plans and day-to-day account activities including media coverage, monitoring, and digital and inflluencer camapgins that immerse our brand into everyday culture.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are excited to drive creative thinking for campaigns and influence, we want you on the team! Details are important, and you should have on point project management skills, as well as a knack for creative writing. You'll be comfortable digging in and supporting the execution of exciting PR Campaigns and working with your senior leaders to drive work forward.

Responsibilities

Participate in client calls, developing call agendas and reports, and project timelines

Stay on top of what is happening in culture and in the media, as well as contribute to creative ideation and program development

Assist in the creation of strong media and consumer materials including persuasive pitches, press releases, fact sheets, spokesperson bios, and media lists

Support financial process for client programs including supporting management of budget trackers

Conduct research for plan creation, including independent research as well as collaboration with in-house research/culture team on larger research initiatives

Compile program earned media recaps, monthly and quarterly client reports, and support other administrative items as needed

Qualifications

BA/BS Degree in a related field

0-1 years in experience in PR (consumer experience preferred)

Flexibility/versatility to tackle different tasks throughout the day and pivot with little or no warning based on client needs

A strong interest in and understanding of consumer, influencer and media trends

Excellent writing skills are essential to this position, as well as great attention to detail, organization, multi- tasking and proactivity

Knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Excel and PowerPoint a plus

Strong verbal communication skills and professionalism

Compensation Range: USD $40,280.00 - USD $59,553.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
