Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Duties We are seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist to support Global Quality Excellence, Regulations & Standards for a major medical device company. This position will support multiple operating units and focus on supplier controls, supplier qualification, PPAP, and quality documentation.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is self-motivated, adaptable, and able to effectively manage supplier and cross-functional activities.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct supplier outreach and manage supplier communications and follow-up.
Execute Supplier Controls processes, including record creation, documentation, tracking, and completion.
Support supplier qualification activities, including PPAP and sub-tier supplier qualification.
Ensure supplier documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company quality standards and procedures.
Participate on cross-functional project teams and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
Gather, verify, and communicate supplier quality information.
Identify and resolve routine supplier documentation and process issues.
Manage assigned activities and drive tasks through completion with general supervision.

Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, or a related field.

Minimum Experience Required Qualifications
2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
Experience in supplier quality, supplier controls, manufacturing quality, or a related quality function preferred.
Knowledge of PPAP and supplier qualification processes is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in supplier quality, supplier controls, PPAP, supplier qualification, quality documentation, or regulated manufacturing environments are strongly encouraged to apply.
