Are you an experienced Industrial Painter, Auto Body Painter, or Spray Painter looking for a long-term opportunity? We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team on 2nd shift , with paid training provided on 1st shift .
In this role, you'll work in a clean, well-organized manufacturing environment applying high-quality finishes to equipment, vessels, structural components, and facility surfaces. If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in craftsmanship, and have experience with spray painting equipment, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and repairing imperfections
Mix paints, coatings, and thinners to meet quality and specification requirements
Set up and operate industrial spray equipment and spray guns
Apply paint and protective coatings to equipment, vessels, structures, walls, and other industrial components
Inspect finished work to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
Maintain paint equipment and keep work areas clean and organized
Safely operate material handling equipment including forklifts, cranes, and hand trucks when needed
Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements, respirator use, lockout/tagout, and confined space regulations
Work closely with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards
What We're Looking For
Required:
Experience with industrial, automotive, or commercial spray painting
Experience using spray guns and paint application equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work safely in an industrial manufacturing environment
Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Preferred:
Auto body or automotive painting experience
Experience with industrial coatings or forced-air paint systems
Forklift and overhead crane experience
Bilingual English/Spanish skills
Basic mechanical aptitude

Schedule
Training Schedule (1st Shift)
Monday-Friday
6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Occasional extended hours as needed
Regular Schedule (2nd Shift)
Monday-Friday
2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Overtime and Saturday work available
Work Environment
You'll be working in a clean, well-lit industrial manufacturing facility using spray guns, paint booths, cranes, forklifts, and other equipment. The environment can become warm during summer months, and employees use appropriate PPE, respirators, and safety equipment to ensure a safe workplace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cherry Valley, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.24 - $28.24/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
