We're looking for a creative, organized Social Media Coordinator to join our digital marketing team. Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing, you'll work with the Organic Social and Catalog Brand teams to create and edit short-form videos, turn film clips into social content, engage with fans, and support campaigns across Universal Pictures All-Access social channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media & Content Creation
Monitor social media platforms and engage with the Universal Pictures At Home community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner, and flag sensitive issues to the appropriate team.
Pitch, produce, and edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, including in-office shoots, and explain how ideas connect with the intended audience.
Edit and repurpose film clips into shareable content optimized for each social platform.
Support the Catalog Brand Team on holiday, anniversary, and other priority campaigns throughout the year.
Track pop-culture, social trends, emerging platforms, and new features to identify opportunities for relevant audience engagement.
Curate, write, and distribute a weekly newsletter for the Home Entertainment team highlighting current digital marketing news and social media trends.
Provide day-to-day support to the Organic Social Team to ensure smooth campaign execution, including building and updating presentation decks, highlighting campaign updates, performance results, and relevant trends.
Manage all billing for the Organic Social Team, including vendor setup, invoice processing, purchase order creation and maintenance, payment tracking, and coordination with Finance to ensure accurate and timely payments.
Influencer Marketing
Serve as the central day-to-day contact for influencer initiatives across New Release and Focus Features titles under the supervision of the Director, Digital Marketing.
Maintain and expand the influencer database, keeping contact information, rates, audience insights, campaign history, and performance results current.
Assist in identifying and recommending influencers based on campaign objectives, audience fit, and brand alignment.
Support influencer outreach and campaign coordination, including availability, rates, deliverables, timelines, content approvals, and feedback, working with creators, their representatives, and agency partners.
Develop campaign briefs ensuring alignment with approved campaign strategy and messaging.
Compile social and influencer campaign results and recaps, identifying learnings and recommendations to improve future content and partnerships.
Basic Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in social media, digital marketing, video production, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience creating and editing short-form video content for social media using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
Minimum 1 year of experience managing or supporting social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, X, Facebook, etc.).
Desired Characteristics
Familiarity with pop culture and current and developing trends, with the ability to quickly spot opportunities and translate them into relevant content.
Familiarity working with social media analytics tools (e.g. Sprouts Social, Hootsuite).
Creative, proactive thinker who brings fresh ideas and follows through from concept to execution with the appropriate guidance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate professionally with internal and external partners
Collaborative and resourceful, with the ability to take ownership of day-to-day tasks while working under the Director's guidance.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Additional Requirements
Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
