Essential Job Duties:

The position will update existing materials and create original graphic designs for various print products. Primary deliverables include leader guides featuring thumbnail images and key talking points, recipe cards, standard 8-1/2 × 11-inch activity sheets, multi-page brochures, and related promotional collateral. Additionally, this role is responsible for updating designated website pages as directed. This position operates on an Apple iMac computer platform and works on-site in an office environment alongside the Executive Director and the Outreach Strategy Planning Manager.

Required Qualifications:

Proficient with Canva design program to update existing materials created in this platform.

Oversee website page editing in a WordPress environment.

Locate and select royalty-free images to complement content.

Strong communication skills to promote understanding of the task to be performed and to keep program leadership apprised of work product delivery schedule, review timelines, and final product availability.

Strong organization skills to include the use of file naming conventions and revision control.

Ability to work in a collaborative manner and receive feedback/input on drafts prior to producing a final design.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, with demonstrated experience updating and maintaining existing document templates.
