Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will perform or advise on work in many phases or systems of budget administration. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits or alternative methods of financial management or organization's programs and administrative operations. You will implement legal and regulatory control over approved budgets. You will implement internal controls and provide advice on effective and efficient methods for acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities. You will provide financial management, budget formulation, execution, and analysis support for international programs, ensuring compliance with applicable U.S. laws, regulations, and fiscal controls. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Mastery of concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations of budgeting and/or financing and their relation to subordinate and senior levels; 2) Developing, recommending and implementing budgetary/financial Foreign Military Sales policies; 3) Applying standard Security Assistance/Security Cooperation (SA/SC) programs to include the application of the FMS sales process from case development, implementation, execution, to closure, in accordance with all policy & regulations; 4) Analyzing, reviewing, and interpreting financial Foreign Military Sales execution data and resolving variances; 5) Communicating clearly both orally and in writing for the purpose of providing information and guidance to management or customers at all levels. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
