Job Title: Associate, Accounting

Job Location: Greenville, TX

Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off

Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking an enthusiastic and driven associate to join our dynamic accounting team. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to support various Program Accounting functions for our extensive portfolio of projects. Key responsibilities include managing revenue recognition processes, overseeing inventory accounting, and monitoring profit rate changes, among other crucial tasks.

Essential Functions:

Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly financial reports for leadership, ensuring accuracy and clarity

Assist with month-end financial close activities to maintain precise and timely accounting records

Validate contract setups in the Enterprise Resource System to ensure proper revenue recognition is in line with company standards

Monitor and complete revenue recognition and profitability assessments, ensuring the financial health of our programs

Conduct thorough inventory evaluation assessments to maintain accurate inventory records

Provide ad hoc analysis and support as required, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting team

Qualifications:

To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Mathematics or related field or have completed their bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
