Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer (Data Center)

Location: Bloomington, MN

Type: 6 month Contract

Compensation: $95.00

Responsibilities

Lead efforts to deliver detailed design of large-scale data center environments while following all company, client and project design; may involve leading teams dedicated to these design

Work closely with engineering project teams and field personnel to complete and review projects on scope, budget and schedule. Incorporate schedules, budgets and project criteria into physical design and layouts.

Possess a willingness to function in multiple job roles simultaneously.

Provide guidance and insight into design risk factors for redundancy and resiliency.

Conduct field surveys, drawings, and other data to assess conditions of existing facilities and develop summary reports.

Prepare and/or review technical drawings to ensure that installations and designs conform to standards and customer requirements.

Review drawing and modeling production work, including problem analysis.

Provide guidance to ensure that designs comply with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.

Compile data and create engineering studies and reports.

Perform detailed calculations as needed by the project.

Mentor, provide guidance, and supervise junior-level engineers and designers.

Provide training for other technical personnel.

Coordinate with internal and external clients to determine proper requirements for projects.

Professional written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are imperative to success in this position.

Support business development, including developing scope-of-work, level-of-effort, and site visits to understand the scope of the pursuit.

Strong leadership skills, with desire to train and develop early career and/or inexperienced professionals.

Requirements

Minimum of 11 years related work experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to drive results, set priorities, and plan effectively.

Skilled in delegating, leading teams, and managing project schedules, budgets, and staffing.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and challenge current assumptions.

Attention to detail with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Understanding and application of engineering design principles and standards.

Professional registration or licensure in engineering or actively pursuing it.

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
