We are looking for an accomplished Plant Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, reporting, and performance analysis for operations in St. James, Louisiana. This role partners closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to strengthen financial visibility, support sound decision-making, and uphold accurate reporting standards. The position also leads core accounting and closing activities while helping improve processes, controls, and overall operating efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Act as the senior finance partner for site operations, offering clear analysis and practical recommendations to support business decisions.

Lead forecasting, annual budgeting, management reporting, and legal reporting processes to ensure timely and reliable financial insight.

Oversee month-end close activities and maintain strong financial controls that support accurate and compliant reporting.

Direct product cost standard management and monitor manufacturing cost performance to improve financial understanding across operations.

Ensure accounting records, financial data, and reporting practices align with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

Coordinate interactions with external auditors and third-party service providers, ensuring efficient communication and completion of required deliverables.

Participate in site leadership discussions to identify operational risks, business impacts, and financial implications affecting performance.

Review financial and operational processes, recommend improvements, and help implement changes that increase accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

Build productive working relationships across departments and promote a collaborative, safety-conscious work environment.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; an advanced finance or accounting credential is preferred.

10+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including leadership responsibility.

Demonstrated ability to manage teams across multiple locations and guide staff development effectively.

Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and cash flow planning.

Experience in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to cost accounting, is highly valued.

Proficiency with financial systems and spreadsheet-based analysis, with the ability to work comfortably across reporting tools.

Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels.

Self-directed approach with strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
