Job Description

A federal client of ours is seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to provide high-level administrative and operational support to Department of Defense (DoD) leadership and acquisition program teams. This individual will play a critical role in supporting senior leadership, coordinating day-to-day operations, managing executive-level communications, and ensuring mission success through effective organization, scheduling, and program support. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting DoD environments, strong administrative expertise, and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Support government leadership and acquisition teams with administrative and operational activities.

Manage executive calendars, coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, capture meeting minutes, and track action items and suspense dates.

Prepare reports, briefings, correspondence, and official documentation for leadership review and approval.

Coordinate travel arrangements through Defense Travel System (DTS) and support conferences, working groups, and virtual meetings.

Maintain SharePoint sites, records, program documentation, and organizational communications in accordance with DoD requirements.

pay range $25-30/hr

Skills and Requirements

active Secret Clearance

Administrative support experience within the DoD

Experience utilizing the Defense Travel System (DTS).

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams).

Strong experience with executive scheduling, meeting coordination, action item tracking, records management, and correspondence preparation. SharePoint administration and document management experience.

Knowledge of Air Force organizational structures, acquisition processes, and administrative procedures.
