Our client is seeking a motivated Analyst Assistant to support the administration of special districts and public agency programs. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, data

1 year experience or internship within analytics

Strong proficiency with Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUPS)

Prior exposure to SQL, tableau, or python nice to have!

Description

Assist with the day-to-day administration and financial operations of special districts.

Support Project Managers and Senior Analysts in completing client requests, special projects, and ongoing administrative functions.

Help serve as a point of contact for assigned clients by responding to inquiries and providing administrative support.

Analyze, maintain, and manipulate large and complex datasets while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Assist in monitoring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Learn and support special district financial administration, including database maintenance, financial tracking, and tax and assessment calculations.

Review and gain familiarity with legislative codes, legal documents, and bond-related materials relevant to special district operations.

Utilize mapping and geographic information tools to support spatial analysis and district administration activities.

Identify potential issues, discrepancies, or risks and collaborate with Project Managers to develop solutions.

Perform quality control reviews to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of deliverables.

Manage and prioritize assigned tasks to meet project deadlines and client expectations.

Participate in client meetings and provide administrative and analytical support as needed.

Deliver exceptional customer service while working with a variety of stakeholders, including local government agencies and members of the public.

Thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and competing priorities.

Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Temecula, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $28.85/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
