Inside/Outside Sales Representative

Description We are looking for a proactive Sales Support specialist to join a team in Simi Valley. This contract to permanent opportunity offers a blend of customer-facing sales coordination and business development efforts, with a mix of office-based support and in-field client interaction. The ideal candidate will help strengthen customer relationships, support revenue growth, and ensure a smooth experience from inquiry through order processing.

Responsibilities: - Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers to expand business opportunities across assigned accounts and territories. - Respond to incoming inquiries, follow up on sales leads, and guide customers through product or service options that fit their project needs. - Prepare pricing information, generate quotes, and support timely order entry to help move opportunities through the sales cycle. - Coordinate with customers after the sale to address questions, provide updates, and reinforce a high level of service. - Conduct outbound outreach through calls, emails, and in-person visits to identify new business and develop a strong sales pipeline. - Attend customer meetings, site visits, and networking opportunities to promote services and strengthen local market presence. - Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate communication of customer requirements, order details, and delivery expectations. Requirements - At least 2 years of experience in sales support, inside sales, outside sales, or a related customer-facing sales role. - Background in post-sales support, including handling customer follow-up and resolving routine service needs. - Experience managing inbound and outbound sales activity in a fast-paced business environment. - Strong order entry and quoting skills with close attention to accuracy and turnaround time. - Ability to communicate professionally with customers, field teams, and internal stakeholders. - Comfortable visiting client locations and job sites as part of business development activities.
