Summary MSOE invites applications for a full-time Assistant Director of
Campus Life to join our Campus Life team. The Assistant Director of
Campus Life plays a vital role in enhancing student engagement,
leadership development, and community connection for all MSOE students.
The Assistant Director is dedicated to employing student-centered
theories that focus on identity and persistence to cultivate a holistic
approach to co-curricular and community engagement. Reporting directly
to the Director of Campus Life, this position collaborates with the
Assistant Director of First-Year Programming to implement programming,
traditions, student organization support, and service opportunities that
contribute to the satisfaction, retention, persistence, and graduation
of all students. Essential Job Functions Collaborate with the Director
of Campus Life to advance the vision for student engagement and
leadership by identifying opportunities to enhance existing programs and
implement initiatives that strengthen community and belonging.
Collaborate across departments and with community partners to plan,
implement, and evaluate programming and MSOE traditions, including
Welcome Week, Involvement Fairs, Homecoming, St. Patrick\'s Celebration,
Student Awards Celebration, Senior Celebration, and ROAR. Oversee the
development, support, and sustainability of student organizations while
ensuring compliance with university policies, procedures, and
requirements, including risk management, fiscal responsibility, and
