Job Title: Manufacturing Project Engineer

Location: Mahwah, NJ

Type: Contract

Compensation: $35- $40.43

Work Model: Hybrid

Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

Support Project Managers in the execution of capital projects by coordinating project activities, tracking action items, and communicating with cross-functional teams.

Attend project meetings, assist with equipment installations, FAT/SAT and validation activities, work with engineering teams and suppliers to resolve technical issues, and maintain project documentation.

The role will involve spending time both in the office and on the manufacturing floor while learning the project lifecycle and progressively taking ownership of project tasks.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

0-2 years of engineering experience (internships and co-op experience considered).

Strong Communication & Organizational Skills

Strong Technical Aptitude & Willingness to Learn

Preferred Skills:

PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other project management certifications are a plus but not required.

Exposure to manufacturing processes, automation, or robotics.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles.

Experience using Microsoft Project, Excel, or other project management tools.
