Summary You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST in the HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICE (HRO) of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR. Responsibilities You will Provide internal placement services resolving problems of more than average difficulty for organizations characterized by hard-to-fill and one-of-a-kind positions (e.g. professional, administrative, or technical fields of work). You will provide classification services resolving problems of more than average difficulty for organizations characterized by hard-to-fill and one-of-a-kind positions (e.g. professional, administrative, or technical fields of work). You will advise and assist on the processes and procedures of programs such as Life and Health Insurance, Retirement, Leave, Physical Fitness requirements, Civilian Employee Assistance Program (CEAP) and Federal Employees Compensation Act (FECA). You will advise and assist on standards methods of dealing with poor work performance or behavior problems ranging from reprimands through such serious matters as morals, discrimination, fraud, alcoholism, drug abuse and mental illness. You will develop, modify, conduct, and oversee the presentation of basic or refresher training in classification, staffing, labor relations, employee relations policies, procedures, etc. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-11:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing administrative/technical work in support of Staffing and Recruitment, Human Resources Analytics, Compensation Management AND applying laws, policies, rules, regulations, complex fact finding and analytical problem solving.
