The Advisor, Business Analytics- Aviation supports the Aviation business by delivering analytics and insights that improve pricing decisions, support strategy development, and identify business development opportunities. This role works closely with Sales, Supply, Finance, Pricing, VCO, Commercial and Regulatory teams to translate market, cost, customer, and performance data into actionable recommendations that enhance profitability and strengthen commercial execution.
What You'll Do
Pricing & Commercial Strategy: Analyze pricing, margin, market, customer, and volume data to develop pricing strategies and recommendations for Jet, Avgas, and SAF, including floor/ceiling targets, formula pricing, rack pricing, and profitability optimization.
Profitability & Performance Management: Build and maintain profitability models, evaluate deal economics versus actual results, and identify opportunities to improve returns, strengthen commercial discipline, and enhance P&L performance.
Market Intelligence & Growth Opportunities: Monitor market trends, risks, and competitive dynamics to support strategic planning, business development, branded growth, reseller opportunities, and other commercial initiatives.
Sales Partnership & Contract Support: Partner with Sales on account reviews, pricing recommendations, customer profitability analysis, and proactive renewal planning for expiring contracts.
Cross-Functional Commercial Coordination: Collaborate with Sales, Supply, Scheduling, Regulatory, and other stakeholders to align market intelligence, cost drivers, pricing inputs, and commercial priorities.
Data Integrity & Process Improvement: Validate pricing, cost, transfer price, and profitability data; identify and correct value leakage; and support ongoing commercial process improvements and pricing initiatives.
Performance Reporting & Executive Insights: Develop dashboards, KPIs, recurring reporting, and executive-ready analyses that provide visibility into commercial and operational performance and support decision-making.
Supply Optimization & Strategic Analysis: Manage LP model supply inputs and optimization activities, support SAF balance tracking, conduct ad hoc analyses, and translate data into actionable operational and commercial recommendations.
What You'll Bring - Required
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
4 or more years of relevant experience in business analysis, commercial analysis, pricing, finance, strategy, or related analytical roles
What Makes You Stand Out - Preferred
Demonstrated experience using analytics to influence pricing decisions, commercial strategy, or profitability outcomes
Experience with data visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar platforms
Experience in aviation, refined products, commercial fuels, or related energy markets
Familiarity with pricing strategy, contract pricing structures, margin analysis, and market-based commercial decision-making
Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, including the ability to build analytical models and executive-ready presentations
Experience developing dashboards, KPI frameworks, and recurring reporting processes
Experience supporting executive presentations, account reviews, or strategic planning discussions
Ability to identify process gaps and improve the quality, consistency, and usefulness of business data
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop practical business recommendations
Experience building and maintaining financial or profitability models that support pricing and commercial decisions
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex findings clearly and confidently to senior leaders and cross-functional teams
Ability to work effectively across Sales, Supply, Finance, Pricing, and other business functions
Strong attention to detail, sound business judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Compensation Range
This position has a base salary range of $125,100 - $152,900.
