Multi-location auto dealership group in Albuquerque, NM seeking a Contract-to-Hire Accounts Payable Clerk to work 100% on-site supporting their corporate accounting team in Florida. This role will focus on invoicing and full-cycle A/P for several local dealerships, including processing vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments, and handling related admin tasks as needed. Pay is $20-26/hr DOE, with a strong possibility of converting to permanent based on performance. The need is urgent-they've fallen behind and want someone who can jump in quickly and help stabilize A/P operations. The hiring manager is open to either a working interview (paid day on site to assess fit) or a direct start, with day-to-day oversight provided by Gabriella (Head of Accounting).

Requirements - Experience performing accounts payable duties in an office environment.

Working knowledge of invoice entry, payment processing, and financial record maintenance.

Ability to code invoices accurately and follow established accounting procedures.

Familiarity with preparing or supporting check runs and related payment documentation.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and address discrepancies.

Comfortable managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and handling a consistent workload.

Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordination with vendors and internal teams.
