JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Want to see how products win online? Central Specialty Pet, a division of Central Garden & Pet, is looking for a driven and curious Summer 2027 eCommerce Intern to join our team in Franklin, WI (metro-Milwaukee). This paid, 10-week summer internship offers a hybrid work environment and the opportunity to support several of our leading pet brands, including Aqueon, C&S, Kaytee, and Zilla. As an eCommerce Intern, you\'ll work on real business challenges that directly impact how we compete, market, and sell across online marketplaces. You\'ll gain hands-on experience in competitive intelligence, eCommerce strategy, digital marketing, and conversion optimization, while partnering with cross-functional teams to turn data and insights into actionable recommendations that drive growth. What can you expect to get out of this internship: Build real-world eCommerce skills across marketplace strategy, digital marketing, analytics and consumer behavior. Turn data and insights into recommendations that can influence pricing, marketing, product content and sales. Gain experience solving problems, presenting insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to grow your business skills. Build exposure to cross-functional teams including eCommerce, Brand Marketing, Digital & Creative Services, Sales, Finance and R&D, with opportunities for learning sessions and collaborative training. Receive ongoing coaching and mentorship from experienced marketing leaders. Opportunity to be considered for full-time employment based on performance and business needs. Example projects as a Summer eCommerce Intern: Competitor Analysis: Compare competitor pricing, assortment, promotions, and media strategies to uncover opportunities across marketplaces - spotting market trends and opportunities. A/B Testing: Test product page elements - including images, descriptions, CTAs and promotional pricing to identify what drives higher conversion. eCommerce Growth: Use data and consumer insights to recommend ways to improve digital shopping experience and drive sales. Building analyses, dashboards and presentations to bring insights to life - sharing them with cross-functional teams and leaders. What We\'re Looking For: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university, preferably pursuing a degree in Marketing, eCommerce, Business or a related field, with a strong academic record Rising Junior or Senior status preferred Demonstrated interest in eCommerce marketing, strategy, consumer insights, digital marketing or analytics Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with curiosity about market trends and consumer behavior Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively Proven leadership, initiative, and ability to collaborate effectively in team environments Creative, resourceful, and motivated self-starter with a strong drive for learning and professional growth Why This Internship?
