DESCRIPTION/SUMMARY

Location: Edwards AFB, CA

Environmental Quality Management, Inc. is a leading provider of environmental consulting, engineering and compliance, and remediation and construction management services to the industrial, public, and government sectors.

This position provides support to the Hazardous Waste Support Team at Edwards AFB under our fence-to-fence (F2F) contract performing duties such as:

Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls

Greet and direct visitors

Open, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail

Ship FedEx packages

Assist with preparation of Consent to Purchase (CTP) forms for obtaining materials and supplies

Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system

Draft correspondence

Order and maintain office supplies

Coordinate maintenance of office equipment

Maintain and update customer and vendor files

Other general clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, filing

Assist with inputting Hazardous Waste (HW) and Hazardous Material (HM) data into AF's EESOH-MIS database system

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Must be professional, motivated, energetic and personable

Administrative support background preferred

Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows, Internet, and Adobe Acrobat

Excellent interoffice skills and attention to detail are essential

Strong verbal and writing skills

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience using EESOH-MIS database module a plus

Knowledge of HW and HM also a plus

Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC), which requires an extensive Government background check
