As a Lead Dishwasher You will be taking on a larger role in this department by directing assignments to the staff. In addition, you will help maintain the cleanliness of our kitchens and bars to ensure a proper dining experience for each guest. What you will be doing: help oversee the stewarding staff Train and mentor new associates in all stewarding roles. Complete daily opening and closing checklists, and perform safety and sanitation inspections. Operate and maintain dish machine to standards, efficiently processing dishes and utensils. Manage clean dishes, unload, stack, and store them in designated areas. Maintain cleanliness in dish area and kitchen, including emptying garbage cans and performing general cleaning tasks Ensure floor safety by sweeping, mopping, and drying, and transport soiled ware to designated areas. Handle cleaning chemicals safely, wipe down countertops, restock supplies, and assist with equipment movement. Set up equipment and bus stations for efficient service, anticipating event order needs and performing additional assigned duties. What we are looking for: Ability to tolerate varied working conditions. Must be able to change activities quickly. Prior hospitality, cleaning or janitorial experience preferred Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products. Maintain safe conditions by cleaning and drying floors and preventing slip/fall hazards. Assist with moving supplies and equipment, cleaning spills, and other stewarding support as needed What\'s in it for you?
