The Facilities Construction PMO Lead is crucial in steering the planning, coordination, and execution of facility readiness activities for major manufacturing expansions and factory launches. This role is pivotal in managing construction coordination, utility readiness, equipment tracking, occupancy planning, budgeting, and risk management to ensure infrastructure supports manufacturing equipment installation and production startup.
Responsibilities
Lead construction management activities and coordinate with contractors, architects, MEP firms, landlords, and consultants.
Manage utility readiness including power, water, compressed air, HVAC, and supporting infrastructure.
Track long lead-time equipment including transformers, switchgear, chillers, compressors, AHUs, air dryers, and related facility systems.
Coordinate design reviews ensuring facility requirements align with manufacturing equipment needs.
Monitor construction schedules, milestones, risks, and recovery plans.
Manage facility-related RFQs, supplier evaluations, and procurement activities.
Drive occupancy readiness, phased handover planning, and site-access coordination.
Provide budget forecasts, cost controls, and variance reporting for facility projects.
Develop and maintain risk registers and mitigation plans for facility and utility readiness.
Serve as the integration point between facility execution teams and manufacturing readiness teams.

10+ years of experience managing construction, facilities, capital projects, or industrial infrastructure programs.
Experience managing budgets, schedules, contractors, and facility procurement activities.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive complex projects to completion.
Strong understanding of industrial utility systems and facility readiness requirements.
Experience supporting greenfield or brownfield manufacturing projects.
Experience within HVAC, industrial manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, or capital expansion environments.
Lean Six Sigma or equivalent project management certification.
Experience managing landlords, general contractors, architects, and MEP partners.
Work Environment
The role will initially be remote due to the facility not being built yet. However, the candidate must be local to the DFW area as onsite presence will be required once construction begins. The position offers standard benefits, two weeks of PTO, and carrier holidays. The role is initially for 12 months but has potential for extension as the candidate will become a subject matter expert (SME).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
