Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site in Lawrence MA

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8 AM - 6 PM

Starting Pay is $23.79 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience

As a Security Officer in Lawrence, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Day Time

Mon08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Tue08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Wed08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Thur08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government transportation locations.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, roadways, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, reporting irregularities to appropriate personnel.

Respond to incidents, alarms, traffic-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.

Prepare clear and accurate reports on patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken, while following applicable laws, training, and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
