Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site in Plymouth MA

Friday - Tuesday 3 PM - 11 PM

Starting Pay is $25.88 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience

As a Security Officer in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a government transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations requiring attention, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This armed role requires a valid concealed carry weapons permit. Bring integrity, reliability, and a collaborative mindset to a team that puts people first.

Mon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Thur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Fri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sat07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Sun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transportation facilities, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeters to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.

Respond to incidents, alarms, traffic-related events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel or public agencies.

Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with site requirements.

Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
