This position is located in Adams, Pennsylvania. Responsibilities Provide guidance on budget operations to ensure resources are used in an efficient manner. Manage the battalion reimbursable budget of over $10M to minimize occurrences of funding violations. Serve as Battalion Agency Program Coordinator for Credit Card Program to ensure compliance with contractual agreements. Develop trends to forecast the financial capabilities for subordinate units. OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: accounting and business administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. While serving a probationary period the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights. This is a KEY ESSENTIAL position that cannot be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization and is subject to a 2-hour alert and recall and periodic work schedule changes. Because of the essential nature of this position, the incumbent cannot be a Ready Reservist or a Military Retiree with recall obligations. This position is designated MISSION ESSENTIAL. In the event of severe weather conditions, other installation closings, or other such emergency @type situations (natural or man-made disaster) the employee may be required to remain on duty or report for duty. Because of the essential nature of this position, employee may not be in the Ready Reserves, National Guard, or be a Military Retiree with recall obligations.
