As a Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.10 / Hour

Valid Driver's License

Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123).

Additionally, candidates must hold a valid driver's license that complies with the regulations of the job state (C124).

EMT Certification

Candidates applying for positions that require emergency medical response must have a current EMT certification (C127).

Technical Proficiency

Candidates must demonstrate comfort and proficiency in using a computer or tablet (B204) to ensure effective communication and task management.

Customer Service Experience

Candidates should have prior customer service experience (B219) to ensure they can effectively interact with clients and provide high-quality service.

Fri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.

Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial work areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle records.

Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

EMT certification is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
