Job Title: Medical Oncology Physician

Location: Ephrata, PA

Employment Type: Full Time (1.0 FTE)

What You'll Champion:

Community-based general adult Hematology/Oncology practice (benign hematology, solid tumors, blood cancers)

Outpatient Schedule : Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Facilities : 9 shared exam rooms; infusion and radiation on-site; embedded palliative care

Accredited & Collaborative : CoC accredited; partnership with Johns Hopkins and Maryland Proton Center

Team : Fully staffed - 2.5 Medical Oncologists, 1 PRN Medical Oncologist, 3.0 APPs. Currently supported by navigation, social work, dietary, research, and genetic counseling (hybrid model).

Volume & Call : 14-16 patients per day, shared call-coverage model to include inpatient consults and rounding (Hospitalists admit)

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or

Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or

Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine or Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Upon Hire Required and

Completion of an Internal Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required and

Fellowship in Hematology-Oncology. Upon Hire Required and

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Teaching skills.
