This Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting software applications with a strong focus on Python development in a Linux environment. Compensation:

$35/hr to $41/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.

Skills and Requirements

Secret Clearance

Security - Hands-on experience in Python software development, including REST API design and development, as well as JSON parsing, generation, and validation.

Proficiency with distributed version control systems such as Git and Bitbucket for source code management and collaboration.

Experience developing, deploying, and troubleshooting software applications in Linux environments.

Knowledge of IP networking concepts, with experience configuring and troubleshooting routing protocols such as BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, and static routing.

Experience supporting service provider and/or enterprise IP networks, including working with Cisco (ESR/ASR) and/or Juniper routing platforms.

We are looking for a Software Engineer that has a background in networking (could have previously worked in networking or just have a solid understanding of it)
