A well-established and growing organization in the Keene area is seeking a Human Resources Generalist / Payroll Specialist to support day-to-day HR operations and payroll administration. This is a highly visible role that will partner closely with leadership and employees across multiple departments.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Process and maintain weekly payroll for a multi-site workforce

Support employee onboarding, personnel records, and HR administration

Assist with recruiting efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination

Partner with managers on employee relations, performance management, and workforce matters

Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies

Maintain accurate HR and payroll records and reporting

Assist employees with benefits administration and related questions

Support policy implementation, employee communications, and HR initiatives

Participate in special projects and other HR-related functions as needed

Requirements

Qualifications

2+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a generalist capacity

Exposure to payroll processing and payroll-related functions

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to build relationships and effectively support employees and managers at all levels

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
