Description

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to support a busy legal entity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented candidate with strong organizational skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative and secretarial support to litigation attorneys

Prepare, revise, and format legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and discovery materials

File documents with state and federal courts, including e-filing

Maintain attorney calendars, schedule hearings, depositions, meetings, and deadlines

Coordinate travel arrangements and expense reporting as needed

Manage case files, both electronic and physical, ensuring accuracy and organization

Communicate with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and vendors professionally

Assist with trial preparation, including document management, exhibit preparation, and coordination of logistics

Track deadlines and support attorneys in meeting court and client requirements

Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a legal secretary, with a focus on litigation

Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, and legal terminology

Experience with state and federal court filings

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems, and legal software

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
