Job Title: Sr Cyber Security Engineer

Location: Washington, DC

Type: Contract

Compensation: $79.55

Work Model: Hybrid

Hours: 40.0

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and customize SailPoint Identity IQ (IIQ) to support Governance Policies and procedures during implementation of the Enterprise Identity and Governance Management (EIGM) system.

Assist in daily activities related to SailPoint IIQ including development, testing, and deployment phases of the implementation and support.

Perform upgrades and support for SailPoint IIQ versions (8x) ensuring system stability and functionality.

Customize SailPoint IIQ product features as needed, including developing custom workflows and workflows management.

Integrate and manage resource adapters/connectors such as Active Directory, JDBC, Flat files, ServiceNow, PeopleSoft, and WebServices.

Set up SailPoint IIQ custom tasks and reports, providing comprehensive documentation of processes and activities.

Support day-to-day operations and troubleshooting of security solutions, providing engineering support and system administration.

Analyze system logs for performance issues and anomalies, working with architects and project managers to define security requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience (additional 4 years for non-degree holders).

Minimum of 5 years relevant IT security experience.

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CISA required upon hire.

Experience performing risk assessments and investigating cybersecurity incidents.

Strong understanding of vulnerabilities, hardware/software, networks, data centers, and cybersecurity issues.

Proficiency in ethical hacking techniques and troubleshooting security systems.

Exceptional critical thinking, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
