The Team
We are seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist to join American Tower's Marketing team. The Marketing team impacts lead generation and new sales opportunities through our digital campaigns, social media, trade shows and sales enablement materials. This role will support the execution, optimization, and measurement of integrated digital marketing programs. Key areas of impact include marketing automation, CRM campaign management, paid digital advertising, web analytics, and customer journey analysis to help improve campaign performance and business impact.
What You Need to Succeed
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing, marketing operations, demand generation, marketing automation, marketing technology, or a related function.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Email deliverability, and CAN-SPAM/CASL/GDPR compliance; Experience developing and testing e-mails, landing pages, and forms.
Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, Salesforce reporting, or similar platforms.
Hands-on experience with Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, paid search, paid social, display, retargeting, sponsored content, or lead generation advertising.
Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar systems.
Experience using web analytics and campaign tracking tools to measure digital performance, conversions, attribution, and customer journey activity.
Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and the ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
What You Can Offer Us
Build, launch, and optimize multi-channel digital marketing campaigns across email, web, paid media, landing pages, webinars, events, and nurture programs.
Support marketing automation and CRM campaign operations, including lead scoring, lead routing, segmentation, campaign workflows, Salesforce Campaigns, and data quality.
Coordinate paid digital advertising programs across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and related platforms, including audience targeting, campaign setup, budget pacing, testing, and performance optimization.
Track the full digital customer journey from first touch through website engagement, form conversion, lead creation, nurture progression, sales handoff, opportunity influence, and closed-loop reporting.
Use web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or similar platforms to evaluate traffic sources, user behavior, content engagement, conversions, and campaign effectiveness.
Develop and maintain campaign tracking standards, including UTM parameters, conversion events, source tracking, attribution logic, and reporting documentation.
Create dashboards and recurring reports covering campaign performance, paid media results, web analytics, attribution, funnel progression, budget use, and actionable optimization recommendations.
Partner with Marketing, Sales Operations, Business Intelligence, Digital, vendors, and agency partners to align campaigns, reporting, technology, and business objectives.
Identify opportunities to improve campaign processes, MarTech integrations, lead quality, conversion rates, customer journey visibility, and operational efficiency.
Other duties as assigned.
