Job Summary

Behind every seamless dining experience is a strong operational foundation - and that's where you come in. Canteen , a division of Compass Group, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to support the financial and administrative backbone of our operations. In this role, you'll be a key partner to our operations team, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and smooth day-to-day processes that keep our business running efficiently.

What You'll Do

Process payroll and submit human resources forms accurately and on time

Process vendor payables, prepare and submit payment requests, and manage journal entry transfers

Maintain client accounts, prepare accounts receivable invoices, and follow up on delinquent accounts through collection calls

Reconcile cash received against cash recorded, and reconcile inventory to ensure accuracy

Assist with invoice entry, transfers, and research on outstanding accounts payable

Maintain organized, accurate filing of paid invoices

Enter and balance purchasing card receipts

Enter and maintain accurate, up-to-date data within inventory systems

Enter, submit, and follow up on work orders, escalating as needed to keep projects moving

Support the broader team with additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial recordkeeping

Comfort working with payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliation processes

Clear, professional communication skills - you're comfortable following up with clients and vendors alike

Ability to juggle multiple administrative and accounting tasks while meeting deadlines

A proactive, organized approach and a team-player mindset
