Summary About the Position: This is a military technician position with the 81st Readiness Division, Equipment Concentration Site 43, Storage Branch locate at Fort Benning, Georgia. Establish deadlines and priorities based of work schedules and policies established by higher levels of supervision. Explain work requirements, methods, and procedures; instruct subordinates in the new procedures; and provide advice when problems arise. Review in-progress and completed work for adequate quantity and quality. Investigate work related productivity problems and identify corrective actions that can be implemented for improvement. Identify employee training needs and initiate recommendations to provide necessary training. Develop performance standards; counsel employees on performance; make formal and informal performance appraisals. Interview candidates for vacancies and recommend selections. Maintain production reports and records. Operate the full range of gasoline and diesel powered vehicles. Perform operator's maintenance on all vehicles in accordance with established rules and regulations.
