Administrative Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations and provide administrative support to management and team members. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Key Responsibilities

Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments using Microsoft Outlook.

Monitor and respond to emails, ensuring timely communication and follow-up.

Create, maintain, and update spreadsheets, reports, and databases using Microsoft Excel.

Prepare documents, presentations, and correspondence with a high degree of accuracy.

Organize and maintain electronic and paper filing systems.

Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and office events as needed.

Answer and direct phone calls and greet visitors professionally.

Assist with data entry, record keeping, and report generation.

Support special projects and perform additional administrative tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.

2+ years of administrative, office support, or related experience.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting/filtering data, and report creation.

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, including email management, calendar scheduling, and meeting coordination.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Experience supporting multiple managers or departments.

Knowledge of office procedures and administrative best practices.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Asheville, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
