Job Title: HR Administrative AssistantJob Description
The HR Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive experience for employees, candidates, and visitors. This role maintains employee records, supports onboarding and orientations, coordinates communication with internal and external stakeholders, and delivers professional customer service in a fast-paced office environment.
Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Human Resources department to ensure efficient HR operations.
Maintain organized and up-to-date employee records, files, and documentation using established filing systems.
Assist with onboarding activities, including preparing materials, scheduling orientations, and coordinating logistics for new hires.
Coordinate communication with candidates, employees, and temporary staffing agencies to support recruiting and staffing processes.
Support daily office operations and HR-related administrative functions, including handling correspondence and preparing documents.
Manage calendars and schedules for HR-related meetings, interviews, and appointments, ensuring accurate coordination.
Answer inquiries from employees, candidates, and visitors, providing professional and courteous customer service.
Enter, update, and maintain accurate employee and recruiting data in systems and spreadsheets.
Perform receptionist-style duties as needed, such as greeting visitors and directing inquiries appropriately.
Handle general clerical tasks, including copying, scanning, filing, and organizing documents.
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned to support HR and office operations.
Essential Skills
Previous administrative, office support, or customer service experience.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including common productivity tools.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Professional, personable, and customer-focused demeanor.
Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records.
Ability to provide high-quality customer service to employees, candidates, and visitors.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience supporting Human Resources functions.
Experience coordinating orientations or onboarding activities for new employees.
Experience working with staffing agencies or supporting recruiting processes.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
Experience performing receptionist duties in an office environment.
Background in clerical work, including filing, scanning, and document organization.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Yadkinville, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
