Legal / Administrative Assistant

Summary:

The employer is seeking a motivated Legal/Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations and assist with preparing legal documents. They are willing to train; however, candidates with prior legal experience or education are strongly preferred. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

. Create, edit, and format letters, legal documents, and correspondence using Microsoft Word.

. Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.

. Assist with drafting documents under attorney or supervisor guidance.

. Answer and direct calls, emails, and general office inquiries.

. Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

. Perform general administrative duties such as copying, scanning, and data entry.

. Support legal staff with case preparation and document organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

. Background in legal studies or experience working in a legal office.

. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and standard office software.

. Strong communication and writing skills.

. Excellent organization and attention to detail.

. Ability to learn quickly and follow established procedures.

Wage based on experience.

Training:

Employer will provide on-the-job training for candidates who demonstrate strong administrative skills and a willingness to learn legal processes.
