Facility Manager- Grain Industry

Our client, an industry leader in agribusiness operations, is seeking a Grain Facility Manager to join their team. As a Grain Facility Manager, you will be part of the operations department supporting the facility team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Grain Facility Manager

Pay Range: $95,000 - $125,000

What's the Job?

Lead and oversee the daily operations of the grain storage facility, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulations.

Manage and develop facility personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

Implement and maintain safety programs to promote a safe working environment for all staff.

Coordinate with grain merchandising teams to ensure timely and cost-effective grain movement and storage.

Identify opportunities for operational improvements, cost reductions, and capital investments to enhance productivity and quality.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Logistics, Business, or related field; or 5-7 years of grain operations experience in lieu of degree.

3-5 years of relevant experience, including supervisory roles.

Knowledge of grain receiving, storage technologies, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, USDA, FDA).

Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Ability to work in physically demanding environments and travel to remote facilities as needed.
