As a Security Officer Armed - Plant Access in Anderson, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Tue02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Wed02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Thur02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Fri11:30 AM - 05:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility interior, exterior perimeter, loading docks, parking areas, and distribution areas to help deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.

Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.

Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Possession of a Guard Card/License is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
