Customer Service Admin

Location: Tracy, CA

Pay Rate: $19-20

Schedule: 7am-12pm Mon-Fri

Type: Temp-to-Hire

Adecco is hiring immediately for Customer Service Admin with our client, in Modesto, CA. The Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as a key point of contact between United Pallet Services Inc. and its customers, vendors, and internal operations teams. This role ensures smooth order processing, clear communication, and a positive experience for all business interactions. The CSR manages customer inquiries, supports both private and commercial sales, and helps coordinate delivery schedules in alignment with production and inventory availability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person, providing prompt and courteous service.

Process sales orders, quotes, and returns through QuickBooks and Mill Manager systems.

Track deliveries, update customers on ETAs, and relay information to dispatch when needed.

Support order scheduling and communicate with yard supervisors and forklift drivers to ensure fulfillment timelines.

Greet visitors, customers, and drivers at the front office, providing guidance or contact routing as needed.

Assist with bilingual communication between office and yard personnel (English/Spanish).

Handle private buyer sales, including walk-in customers purchasing pallets or related goods.

Collaborate with production and inventory teams to stay informed about product availability and delivery capabilities.

Maintain accurate customer records and documentation using spreadsheets and internal systems.

Escalate issues or concerns to management as appropriate.

Tools & Systems Used:

Phone, email, and walkie-talkie communication

QuickBooks (sales/order entry and invoicing)

Mill Manager (order tracking and inventory data)

Spreadsheets and shared office documents

Requirements:

Position is based entirely in the front office.

Must be bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Work schedule follows standard office hours (typically 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM).

Must demonstrate clear, respectful, and confident communication with all departments.

Comfortable multitasking and switching between systems or priorities as needed.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
