Job Description

Diversified Yacht Services, Inc., the newest, most advanced, state-of-the-art yacht repair service facility in today?s yachting world, is seeking an Administrative Assistant.

This person will be the first point of contact for our customers by answering the phones and assisting walk in customers. This person will also handle accounts payable and accounts receivable duties. The person should be energetic and provide good customer service. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable of the boat and yachting world.

Along with giving administrative support, AP and AR work, this person will be working with high end customers, in person and on the phone, supporting management in providing exceptional communication to our customers. Flexibility is a must, as the daily tasks may vary depending on the workloads.

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

Two years administrative assistant experience

One year experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Experience answering a multi-line phone system

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide a high level of customer service

We need a self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised, a professional appearance, and the ability to follow directions in a professional manner. The key to success will be the ability to effectively multi-task all the office administrator?s duties, including answering incoming telephone calls and providing efficient, friendly customer service to visitors, customers, and employees. Team player attitude is necessary, along with effective verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with fellow employees, management, and customers. DYS requires a favorable criminal background check and requires a valid Florida Driver?s License with a clean driving record. An unsatisfactory driving record would contain infractions worse than minor traffic violations.

To perform the daily work of an Administrative Assistant, you must meet certain physical requirements:

Ability to bend, squat, stoop, and kneel to access files and supplies

Ability to lift up to 25lbs to carry office supplies

Hourly Range: $20-$25 plus paid overtime and full benefits. This range represents the low and high for this position. The hourly pay range will vary depending on experience.
