Position Summary

Omnicare is a leading provider of pharmacy services to long-term care facilities nationwide, supporting skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other institutional care settings. As we transition to an independent, standalone organization, we are building and strengthening internal capabilities to support our approximately 6,000 colleagues and multi-state operations.

The Adjudication Associate (Omnicare) is responsible for the preparation and submission of claims for accounts to ensure timely reimbursements. This person will communicate with the nursing facility staff, physician offices, and insurance companies to maintain payment deliverables for online claim submissions.

Required Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in a pharmacy-based environment.

Basic proficiency with desktop software applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.

Willingness to work Monday-Friday from 12:30pm-9:00pm Eastern Standard Time, as well as work weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

Pharmacy technician certification.

Experience in pharmacy, managed care, Medicaid and/or Medicare organizations.

Ability to perform multiple tasks effectively.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention-to-detail.

Strong communication, both verbal and written.

Previous experience with Medicare Part B.

Education

High school diploma or GED.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $34.15

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
